Step 1: Book a Tour
The first step is to book a school tour online or by calling us directly at 905-948-1785.
We generally book school tours during class time in order to give you a good sense of how the Montessori classroom really works.
You are more than welcome to bring your child when you visit.
Step 2: Assessment
Each new elementary student must undergo an assessment to determine their needs and whether or not our school would be a good fit.
Assessments will be scheduled by the Principal. Your child will spend some time with the teacher, and often visit for one or two days. This allows them an opportunity to meet us and feel comfortable in our setting. We believe that this helps provide confidence for a smooth transition.
We do need a copy of previous report cards and any test results that you may have received. This gives us a sense of whether our school can meet your child's needs.
Step 3: Family Meeting
It is important for us to meet both parents whenever possible. In order for your child to have success at school a strong relationship between school and home needs to be forged.

Step 4: Registration
Once your application is approved, the last step is to submit the necessary paperwork for registering your child.
You will need to complete an application form and a parent consent form. You will also be sent a parent orientation handbook to familiarize yourself with our school policies, important dates, etc.
